KWMB names poster contest winners
 Fifth-grader DeVonte Williams is the grand-prize winner of the Keep West Monroe Beautiful 2008 Mayor's Poster Contest.
Williams attends Boley Elementary. Education Committee chairman Louise Miller; members, Pat Edmondson and Barbara Caldwell; and adjudicator Hugh Miller made the announcement. Forty-seven certificates with ribbons and awards were handed out at school award ceremonies.
The winners are:
Boley Elementary
Division I
First place: Phoenix Cotton; Second place: Shakayla Manning; Third place: Ethan Boyer; Honorable Mention: Paul Holman.
Division II
First place: Eric Richie; Second place: Jamal Cheffin; Third place: Jordan Thomas; Honorable Mention: Cyndee Wade, Cory Patton.
Division III
First place: DeVonte Williams; Second place: Danta Anderson; Third place: Devin Schweinefus; Honorable Mention: Dylan Whitten.
