Red Cross offers lifegard training

The Northeast Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer Lifeguard Training for experienced swimmers 15 years and older.

The course prepares participants for employment as lifeguards by teaching in a skills-based environment. CPR and First Aid skills for the Aquatic setting as well as decision making scenarios are presented.

The courses will be taught at the ULM Natatorium and pre-registration is required.

The cost of the course is $200 per person.

The course will be held from May 27-May 31.
