OPHS Class of 1948 holds 69th reunion

THE OUACHITA Parish High School Class of 1948 gathered recently for their 60th reunion. Fifty-five graduates were among the 86 people in attendance. The events were held at the Hilton Garden Inn in West Monroe. Dr. Richard Hood, guitarist, performed. Program participants included Dr. Max Funderburk, co-chairman, who welcomed the class; Dr. Jim Padgett, who gave the invocation; Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Quinn Becker, class president, who shared his thoughts about the impact of OPHS on the lives of the students; Dr. Anna Lois Sackett Ham who remembered deceased class members; Robert Kirby, co-chairman who conducted class business; Gloria Strong Camp who introduced the program; and Rev. Harry Noble who gave the Farewell and Benediction.
