Dixie Majors holds registration
Registration is currently ongoing for the 2008 Dixie Majors baseball season for players ages 15-19 as of April 30, 2008.
Anyone of that age residing in Ouachita Parish is eligible to participate regardless of any previous league participation.
High school players still participating in the playoffs do not need to attend tryouts but should register by Saturday.
If you did play baseball for your school in 2008 please indicate high school attended on registration form.
Registration forms can be picked up at H. Mickel Sports in Monroe or West Monroe, at Saul Adler Recreation Center on Westminister Avenue in Monday or online at monroeyouthbaseball.com.
Completed registration forms can be dropped off at H. Mickel Sports, at Saul Adler Recreation Center, at tryouts or mailed to MYBA Attention Player Registration, P.O. Box 114826, Monroe, 71207.
Participation fee is $75 and checks should be payable to Monroe Youth Baseball Association.
Each player needs a copy of his birth certificate on file with MYBA. If a copy has been turned in previously, it is not necessary to provide another one this year.
Tryouts will be held at Embanato Field at the Saul Adler Recreation Complex on the following dates.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. |
