ULM starts new tradition Friday
ULM will hold it first Super Warhawk Weekend — a mixture of football, crawfish, opera and more — from Friday-Sunday, April 18-20.
Schedule of events:
Friday, April 18
— Sun Belt Conference Tennis Championships at Heard Stadium; free.
— Warhawk Baseball vs Middle Tennessee; 7 p.m. at Warhawk Field. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children (12 and under) and free to ULM students with ULM identification.
— Opera - "Suor Angelica" & "Gianni Schicchi" by Puccinni. 7:30 p.m. at Brown Stadium. Cost is $15 per person or free to ULM faculty, staff and students. Tickets: 342-1414.
Saturday, April 19
— Sun Belt Conference Tennis Championships at Heard Stadium; free.
— Maroon and Gold Spring Football Game; noon at Malone Stadium; free.
— ULM Legacy Day; 1-4 p.m. next to the La' Louisianne Crawfish Boil. The Office of Recruitment and Admissions invites all prospective students who are children of alumni, faculty and staff to Super Warhawk Weekend! Information: 342-5430 or www.ulm.edu/super/legacy.html.
La' Louisianne Crawfish Boil, sponsored by Chase Bank; 2-4 p.m. behind Malone Stadium and facing Warhawk Field. Cost is $15 per person in advance and $20 per person at the door. $10 for students with ID when purchased by noon April 18. Live Entertainment by Mason Grenade Band. Tickets: 866-WARHAWK (927-4295).
