Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Bond Aldrich, 89, of West Monroe, passed away Friday, March 28, 2008, at the West Monroe Guest House.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Mount Olive Cemetery with Rev. Gordon "Skip" Dean officiating. Arrangements were by Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation was Saturday at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Aldrich II; parents, Willie H. and Ora Dell Bond; son, Fred Poston Jr.; daughter, Helen Dianne Aldrich; and two sisters, Eunice LaVone Lynch and Catherine Marie Bond.
Survivors include her two sons, John L. Aldrich III of West Monroe; and Steve Aldrich and wife, Laura, of Dunlap,Tenn.; brother, J.C. Bond Sr. and wife, Oreatha; two sisters, Hilda B. Cooper and husband, Alton, all of West Monroe, and Leta Mae Buhrman of Byron, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Bond, William C. Brodie, William Ragan, Brian Ragan, Ben Duncan and Farris Duncan.

Steadily slipping away from his loved ones, James E. Allbritton journeyed home on Sunday, March 23, 2008.
His funeral was at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe with Revs. Robbie Robison and Rick Crandall officiating. Burial was in Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation was Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Carol Jean Allbritton; parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Allbritton; brothers, Earl and Jack Allbritton; sisters, Loucille Joyner and Mozelle Legg; granddaughter, Rachael Allbritton; daughter-in-law, June Allbritton; and special inspirational nephew, Bobby Allbritton.

Candelaria "LaLa" Pino Apodaca, 85, of West Monroe, passed from this world on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe with Dr. George Wortham officiating. Burial was in Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation was Saturday evening.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Raul Apodaca; parents, Domingo and Isabel Pino; two sisters, Lucia (Chia) Pino and Regina (Kina) Lopez; one brother, Miguel Pino; and one grandson, Robert (Bobby) Campbell Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Dickerson; son, Paul Albert Dickerson; and sister, Marie Agin.
