Good Hope honors teachers of the month

Good Hope Middle School's March teacher of the month is 17-year educator Jan Mercer.

She taught sixth grade at Highland for 12 years and currently teaches eighth-grade social studies. She attends graduate school and participates in various workshops which will enable her to be prepared for all areas of education and administration.

Mercer will receive a certificate, a meal for two, a parking space for the month of March, and a plaque.

Good Hope Middle School's February teacher of the month was Deborah Creech. She teaches seventh- and eighth-grade physical education and hunter education and she coaches girls basketball. She has been an educator for 29 years.
