Era V. Caldwell
Era V. Caldwell, 89, formerly of Crowville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2008.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Bethany Full Gospel Church in Crowville with Brother Ron Charrier officiating. Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Visitation was Monday evening at the funeral home and immediately before the service Tuesday at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. "Buck" Caldwell ; son, James E. Caldwell; and granddaughter, Cindy Caldwell.
Survivors include sons, Dalton "Bunk" and wife, Patricia, of Laurel, Miss., and Bobby Caldwell and wife, Rita, of Monroe; daughter, Millie Thomas and husband, Jerry, of Sterlington; sister, Nola Busby of Winnsboro; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Rhodney Cook, Greg Caldwell, Dal Caldwell, Scotty Caldwell, Craig Caldwell, Ran Caldwell and David Caldwell.

Martha Francis Chaney
Mrs. Martha Francis Chaney, 74, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008.
Private family graveside services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Survivors include her children, Mary "MiMi" Love and husband, Bob, of Monroe, Beth Stokes and husband, Keith, of Monroe, and Gene Chaney and wife, Becky, of Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren;and two great-grandchildren.

Theresa Daniela Hemphill
Theresa Daniela Hemphill, 23, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Christus Shumpert Hospital in Shreveport.
Her funeral was at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Dr. F. Randy Harper officiating. Interment was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James L. Hemphill; and aunt, Janice Hilburn.
Survivors include her parents, Damon and Theresa Hemphill; sister, Lindsay Hemphill; grandparents, James and Betty Shows and Lorraine and Hollis Plumley; uncles and aunts, Donna Hemphill, Ronnie Hemphill, Jeff Hemphill, Gary Hemphill, Barbara Shows, Susie McQuillin, Carolyn Dickleman, Marilyn Gross, James W. Shows and James David Shows; and numerous other family and friends.

Rita Dillingham Leonard
Mrs. Rita Dillingham Leonard, 58, of Longview, Texas, and formerly of Monroe, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Services were arranged by Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation was Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, James E. "Eddie" Leonard; brother, Bobby Dillingham; sister, Dianna Taylor; mother, Lois Dillingham; daughter, Casey Wheelus; sons, Chris Leonard and Josh Leonard; and two grandchildren, Katie and Brice Leonard.

Gennie Lee Neathery, 76 of Monroe, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008, in Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Neathery; parents, Noah and Annie Bethany Spruell.
Survivors include sons, Timothy Scott Neathery, David Ronald Neathery and wife, Juanita; daughters, Debbie Chisolm and husband, Sammy, of Olla, Sarah "Cricket" Bell and husband, Alex; daughter-in-law, Christy Neathery; grandchildren, Jason and Jeffery Chisolm, Connie, Gennie, Deborah, Scotty, Tye, Coby, Angie, Hannah, Bethany, David Neathery, Brittany Martin, Dakin, Darin, Dusty Bell, Jaushua and Ashley Keefover, Kelley and Harley Bolton; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Tori, Sierra, Kayden, Dustin and Destiny; special sisters-in-law, Sally Hamm and Frances Neathery; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends at Francis Towers.

Mr. Emmett Nobles, 87, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Paul Lytle officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Cherry Cemetery in Mangham. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Nobles; parents, Alonzo and Mamie Nobles of Mangham; brother, A.B. Nobles Jr. of Mangham; sisters, Gladys Eubanks of Rayville and Estelle Stephens of Archibald.
Survivors include his son, Jim Nobles of West Monroe; daughters, Shirley Smith of West Monroe, Charlotte Rowland and husband, Roger, of Columbia, Linda Kinison of Monroe, and Beth Roark and husband, Paul, of Grayson; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Eubanks of Bastrop, Dovie Gandy and husband, Clinton, of Waterproof, Darlene Turnage of Vidalia, Connie Burrows and husband, Jerry, of Chatman; brothers, James (Bobo) Nobles of Baskin, Harvey Nobles and wife, Alice, of Swartz, Ronald Nobles and wife, Evon, of Mangham.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rufus J. Goza Sr.; mother, Irene Keller Goza; son, George E. Oskoian Jr.; brothers, Norman K. Goza and R.J. Goza Jr.; and sister, Joy Dee Goza Reed.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, George Oskoian Sr. of Monroe; sister, Frances Goza Curty of Monroe; grandsons, Tony Oskoian, Nicholas Oskoian and Christopher Oskoian; and granddaughter, Julia Oskoian of Pensacola, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her sons, David Boles, Gary Silman and George Silman; daughter, Barbara Boles; granddaughter, Rhonda Atkins; brothers, Garland Boles and Claude Boles; and a sister, Faye Johnson.
Survivors include her children, Phillip Silman, Dennis Silman and wife,, Denise, Patsy Castle and husband, Jimmy, James Silman and Carolyn Quick; brothers, Horace Boles and wife, Dorothy, Carl Boles and Sammie Boles; sisters, Lucille Greer, Annie Ardis, Mary DeYoung and Maurice Rhodes; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
