The home of Vivian Muckleroy, on Arlington Place in Monroe, was the setting for a luncheon meeting of Cultura Book Club in February.

The hostess decorated with a profusion of camellias from the garden of Rosemary Fowlkes.

Co-hostesses were Julia Sers and Pat Funderburk. Helping serve were Annette Bedgood, Peggy McGaugh, Clara Sikes, Hattie Watson and Edwina Welch.

"Life Spaces for All Ages"was the topic of guest speaker June Conway Bruyninckx, a 29-year professor at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Certified in gerontology, she spoke on successful aging, covering such topics as diet, exercise, spirituality, community involvement and independent living.

She emphasized the importance of accepting one's life and feeling good about it.

Kitty Liner, president, conducted the business meeting. Sue Drewett reported that the January project of filling baby bottles with money was a success, with $350 having been collected for Life Choices.

Twenty-two members attended.
