Registration ends March 1 for Womenspeak training

Monroe/West Monroe Business and Professional Women, Inc. in partnership with WomenSpeak Training, will offer a "Media/ Public Speaking Training for Women" workshop from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, April 21, at the Atrium on Louisville Avenue in Monroe.

This workshop consists of media training tailored specifically for women and their needs as public communicators.

Skills learned are applicable to public speaking and group presentations.

Co-sponsors for the event are the Atrium and West Monroe/West Ouachita Chamber.

Emily A. Donahoe, founder of Womenspeak Training and a native of Lake Providence, will lead the workshop.

The seminar fee is $250 and includes materials, seminar, lunch and snacks.

Registration ends on March 1. Register online and use PayPal or send registration form and check.

Seating is limited. Proceeds will benefit the Monroe/West Monroe BPW scholarship fund.
