Keller plans on ATU
by Joe Durham, Jr. - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Richard Keller of River Oaks has decided to continue playing football at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.

Keller is a 5-8, 230-lb. senior who played both offensive deep snapper and defensive tackle for the Mustangs.

On the defensive side of the ball, Keller had 45 individual tackles, 17 assists, five sacks, eight tackles for a loss, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick.

"We're really going to miss hm," said River Oaks coach Robert Hannah. He did a great job for us, especially on the defensive line. But I think what they'll use him for will be a deep snapper. We want to wish him well and I believe he'll do a good job for them."

Keller made the verbal commitment recently.

No player can actually sign letters-of-intent until Wednesday.
