Mark and Leisha Pooser of Lewisville, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Katryn Anetha Pooser to Heath Wayne Hemphill of West Monroe.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James and Dorothy Pooser and James and Bonnie Johnson, all of Sulphur.

She is a graduate of Lake Charles Christian School and is a massage therapist at the Institute of Body Works in Lewisville, Texas.

The groom-elect is the son of Bruce and Deion Hemphill of West Monroe. He is the grandson of Joe and Vivian Hemphill of West Monroe and the late Ray and Glenda Ann Thomason of West Monroe.

He is a graduate of West Monroe High School and is scheduled to receive a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in May 2008.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Chateau de Bon Reve in Sulphur.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Ruston, where Heath will pursue a Master's of Science degree from Louisiana Tech.
