Both Neville basketball teams clinched a share of the District 2-4A title with wins over Franklin Parish on Monday in Monroe.
The third-ranked Lady Tigers came back to life after a forgettable turnover-ridden first half to steamroll Franklin Parish, 55-22.
Chelsi Watson's double-double (17 pts., 16 reb.) and a physical Neville (22-2, 7-0 in District 2-4A) defense proved to be overwhelming for the Lady Patriots (15-7, 2-5), who have struggled in league play after a hot month of December.
