Foundation welcomes Manning NFL legend Archie Manning comes to town Thursday, Feb. 7, to speak for the West Monroe High School Foundation's annual Big Event fundraiser at the West Monroe Convention Center.
Manning debuted in the NFL in 1971 as a quarterback playing for the New Orleans Saints and concluded his career playing for the Minnesota Vikings in 1983-1984. Manning ended his 13-year career having completed 2,011 of 3,642 passes for 23,911 yards and 125 touchdowns with 173 interceptions. He also rushed for 2,197 yards and 18 touchdowns. His 2,011 completions ranked 17th in NFL history upon his retirement.
Manning's speech is titled "A Legacy of Success."
