Tigers land WR commitment
LSU landed its 26th commitment of the 2013 class when Holy Cross wide receiver Kevin Spears switched his verbal commitment from Louisiana Tech to the purple and gold over the weekend.
Spears (6-2, 190) has flown under the recruiting radar most of the season due to the fact he has only been playing football for two years. The rangy receiver was offered the LSU scholarship only after he committed to Louisiana Tech a week before. After a visit to Baton Rouge over the weekend, Spears officially announced his change of heart.
