Bruno optimistic as ULM celebrates University Week Faculty and staff of the University of Louisiana-Monroe are back at work following the winter break, and university president Nick Bruno is optimistic the spring semester will prove to be another season of renewal.
That's the word from Bruno, who spoke to some 500 faculty and staff at an annual luncheon sponsored each spring by the Louisiana Cattlemen's Association.
"I think we're going to have a very good semester," said Bruno. "It's starting off well, as you can see by the first week we've had in the new year."
