I was eating my breakfast in front of the TV, and I saw where they were going to air a program the next day discussing the pursuit of happiness.

I immediately thought about the class that I taught my last year at West Monroe High School. I had taught a two week course from my book, "Building a Better You."

I taught this course at the beginning of each semester. Each session began with the question, "What do you want?" I tried to motivate the students to not only think, but to also be able to write down their thoughts.
