Culinary tour booklet offers taste of Northeast Louisiana
It's down to the wire for Christmas shopping and, if you are like many people, you're scrambling for last-minute gifts. One idea that offers something to please all palates: a Culinary Tour of Northeast Louisiana.
The Northeast Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant Association is selling a $40 coupon booklet that offers dining deals worth about $400. The coupons can be used at 50 area restaurants, as well as a few other local attractions.
Patsy Rials, Regional Director for the Northeast Chapter, said each booklet has 55 coupons valid from Jan. 1 through Nov. 30 of 2013.
The local chapter has been putting out the tour booklet for 14 years. It was adopted from a similar program in the Lafayette area.
