Student arrested, charged with terrorizing

A 15 year-old West Monroe High School student was arrested and charged with terrorizing following threats the student allegedly made about harming students at the school.

The suspect has not been named because he is a juvenile.

West Monroe Police spokesman Jade Gabb said officers began investigating a complaint that a student threatened to harm students at West Monroe High.

"Investigators determined that the juvenile had not yet made any preparations to carry out his intended threat," Gabb said.
