Parade, fireworks top weekend Holiday events The 6th Annual Bawcomville Redneck Christmas Parade will roll through the streets of Bawcomville Saturday morning, officially kicking off a slate of holiday celebrations throughout the region.
Also on tap for Saturday, Dec. 1 is the Bah Humbug 5k Run. Sponsored by Family Church of West Monroe, the 5k run benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Louisiana.

6th Annual Bawcomville Redneck Parade

A parade like no other, with fun-loving redneck floats and throws that range from beads and toys to other surprises!

The Gingerbread House Kids Alley
Time: 12PM-3PM
Kids will have a blast! Be sure to bring your camera for some great photo oppourtunities. Wild Country Safari Park will be on hand with a camel, kangaroo, and more. Revolution Park is bringing a NASCAR. Also on hand, the National Guard obstacle course, Knuckleheads Gym, Miss Louisiana (from 12-2), and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus!

31st Annual Journey to Bethlehem
Time: 2-5PM
Experience the sights, sounds and smells of that first Christmas with over ninety costumed actors. Visitors may 'walk through' Bethlehem and interact with the shopkeepers, cloth dyers, potters, census takers, inn keeper and many others. It includes live animals and some special effects. |
