Ouachita Christian aims to bounce Kangaroos
No. 1 Ouachita Christian Eagles host No. 5 Kentwood Kangaroos for the fourth round of Class 1A playoffs on Friday night.
The defending state 1A champion Eagles cleared a path to the semi-finals with a crushing 44-8 defeat of the Southern Lab Kittens last week, improving their season record to 13-0.
"The game against Southern Lab was the perfect combination of what you want to see in the playoffs with our team executing well in all three phases: on offense, defense and special teams," said Ouachita Christian Eagles head coach Steven Fitzhugh. "I was very proud of our guys' efforts."
