Three Ouachita Parish football powerhouses will battle Friday night for a chance to score back-to-back state championships.

The West Monroe Rebels, Neville Tigers and Ouachita Christian School Eagles each hope to claim a ticket to the 2012 LHSAA/State Farm Prep Classic in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8. All three teams are defending state champions in their respective classes – West Monroe in Class 5A, Neville in Class 4A and OCS in Class 1A.

The No. 3 Rebels collide with the No. 2 Barbe Buccaneers Friday in Lake Charles. West Monroe after routed Airline last week, 34-14. The Rebels upended the Buccaneers last post-season during quarterfinal action, 21-12.
