CASA seeks gift givers The Center for Children and Families seeks community members to help provide Christmas gifts to over 650 abused, neglected, impoverished children in Northeast Louisiana.
The Center for Children and Families' annual "Christmas Project" is well under way for 2012 and sponsors are needed for the over 650 children anxiously waiting for Christmas gifts.
Through the Christmas Project, members of the community can provide Christmas to a child who has been displaced from his/her home due to abuse and neglect. Each year, The Center for Children and Families strives to provide each child served through the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program, and many other needy children served through the Center's other programs, with one new clothing outfit as well as at least one age-appropriate toy. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
