November has arrived with a cold bang and the home fires are burning as the holly berries are turning from orange to red. ULM is having a winning season — now 6-3 and bowl eligible.

Dolores and Johnny T. Johnson and their daughter, Jennifer Johnson Walker on Riverside, have beautiful traditional Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations. Do go to J.B. and Janice Landry' s home on Bramble to see her Halloween decorations that are extensive and fabulous for the children and the adults.

We are especially thinking of J.B. and Janice, and Jane Sartor, as their stunning tall blonde and beautiful granddaughter, Eliza Sartor, works in the prestigious garment district in New York City, an area that was hit by Storm Sandy.

Martha Jane Anderson retired from University of Louisiana-Monroe after 35 years of service as Assistant Dean of Students and SGA Advisor. She is married to Patrick H. Anderson Sr., has two children, and four grandchildren.
