St. Freds meets Oak Grove in playoff collision
The St. Frederick Warriors host the Oak Grove Tigers for the first round of Class 1A playoffs on Friday night.
The Warriors qualified for playoffs seeding with last week's 40-30 non-district win against the Montgomery Tigers.
Ranked No. 16 in the power ratings, St. Frederick (6-4) meets the No. 17 Oak Grove in the bi-district playoff round, making it the Warriors' first appearance in the playoffs since 2009. The contest will decide who meets either Ouachita Christian or Sacred Heart for the regional playoffs round.
