A man charged with one count of making bomb threats against three area private schools is scheduled to make another court appearance next week.

David Reyna, 30, of Monroe, was arrested in connection with a Sept. 24 bomb threat at St. Frederick High School, River Oaks School and Ouachita Christian School. The threat resulted in the evacuation of the schools and a massive law enforcement effort to secure the buildings.

Reyna will appear in court next week for a preliminary hearing ahead of a Dec. 3 trial.

If convicted, Reyna faces up to 20 years in prison. He currently is being held at Ouachita Correctional Center on a $200,000 bond.
