A benefit for Jimmy "Squirrel" Langston to help with medical expenses, will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. at Satans Tramps CHMC, 710 Ole Hwy 15, West Monroe.
There will be plate lunches, live music, 50/50, & a silent auction.

Come by Griffin Funeral Home to buy your meal ticket in advance, or to make a donation. Plate lunches are $6 and include brisket, potato salad, baked beans, bread and dessert.

Langston opened his business in 1974. June marked 32 years of Langston working with the MDA. He helped start the ABATE of Northeast LA. He was president of NELA Motorcyclists for Kids. This year will be 33 years that he has helped with the Salvation Army Toys for Tots. The MDA & Toys for Tots are some of the oldest non-profit organizations that are up and going here in North East LA.

Langston received the Veterans Associated Humanitarian Of The Year Award in 2011.
