Twin Cities host baseball championships The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) announced recently that it has reached an agreement with the Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau for Monroe-West Monroe to host the 2013 1A and 2A state baseball championships. The state championship tournament will be played May 10 - 11, 2013 at Warhawk Field at the University of Louisiana-Monroe (ULM).
"We are extremely excited to work with the Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau to bring the 2013 1A and 2A state baseball championships to the northeast section of our state," said LHSAA Executive Director Kenny Henderson. "We would like to thank them for their continued support of LHSAA championship events and are thrilled to have them host two days of exciting high school baseball finals."
