Living in dependence on the Lord is exciting! Most of us hurry around trying to accomplish our plans through our own strength and ability. Some succeed fabulously while others fail miserably.
Whether we fail or succeed in our dreams, we have missed out if we are not living and working in a relationship with our God who has the power to change lives that we humans lack.
When we depend on the Christ, our whole perspective changes for the good. We see miracles happening all around us instead of coincidences. We know that the Lord's plans are much better than our plans for our lives. We must choose to live, move, and have our being in Christ. This is the ultimate plan He offers us when we believe! Martha Jane Anderson retired from University of Louisiana-Monroe after 35 years of service as Assistant Dean of Students and SGA Advisor. She is married to Patrick H. Anderson Sr., has two children, and four grandchildren. |
