Despite road win, Tigers drop in AP, coaches polls BATON ROUGE - Despite going on the road to win its first Southeastern Conference game, the LSU football team dropped one spot to No. 3 in the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches polls that were released on Sunday morning.
LSU (4-0, 1-0 SEC) returns to action on Saturday when Towson, a member of the Football Championship Subdivision, comes to Tiger Stadium for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff. The game will be televised by ESPNU.
