Battle on the Bayou
ULM entertains Baylor in nationally televised contest
The ULM Warhawks will host the Baylor Bears Friday night in the home opener of a season that began with the stunning defeat of nationally ranked SEC Arkansas Razorbacks.
ULM (1-1) takes the field following last week's close contest with Auburn (1-2), where the Tigers pulled an overtime field goal to win the game, 31-28.
In preparation for the Baylor game, an ESPN televised event, fans are being encouraged to wear white for the "White Out." Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
"It (white) shows up well on television," said ULM President Nick Bruno. "Our team's uniforms are white, too, so it's a way to show support."
