Paulson to give keynote address First Amendment Center president and CEO Ken Paulson will be the keynote speaker at a reception honoring the winners of a high school essay contest.
The First Amendment reception and essay contest is sponsored by the ULM Department of Communications. ULS Communications graduate student Liz Jones Craft organized the event as part of her exit project for graduation.
High school students from around the region were invited to submit essays on "Free Expression and the First Amendment." Winners will be announced next week.
Craft said several things coalesced to form the project.
