Have you ever wondered where the word gossip came from? Have you ever been called a gossip?

I have known people that would tell anyone anything they wanted to hear. It may have some truth in it and part of it may be fabricated. People love to talk and most of the time they love to talk about other people and their situations.

Many reputable reputations have been tarnished because someone said something about a person not knowing for sure if the information was correct or not. Many conflicts have started in churches, communities, and families because someone may have been told something in confidence only to tell it to someone else with added information.
