Rebels to battle Bastrop Rams after Jaguar win
The West Monroe Rebels, defending Class 5A state champions, are mounting their defenses to host a contest against Class 4A Bastrop Rams in Rebel stadium Thursday night.
The Rebels left a mark in Madison, MS. last week, crushing the Madison Central Jaguars, 56-28. The Rebels aim to leave a similar impression on the Rams.
It won't be an easy win for the Rebels, though. The Rams play an aggressive offense, which will prove a difficult defensive challenge to the Rebels.
