Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens cemetery in West Monroe will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for its new Open Air Chapel Mausoleum at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, and the public is invited to share in this occasion.

Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens cemetery is the only Perpetual care cemetery and mausoleum in West Monroe.

"We are proud to announce the addition of the Open Air Chapel Mausoleum to our cemetery for families that choose above ground burial. The mausoleum offers a peaceful place for quiet reflection and prayer. It will also offer a peaceful setting for committal ceremonies and an enduring structure as a final resting place," said Laura Kilpatrick Marchelos, President of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes and Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens.
