 We are rejoicing in Monroe for the ULM Warhawks who took the highly ranked (8) Arkansas Hogs down in overtime on Saturday last! Wow! This is the first ranked team ULM has beaten in college history.
Kolton Browning won the Player of the Week National Award with his 481 total yards passing and rushing. He won the Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week Award beating out USC's and Michigan's players. Let's show our support when the Warhawks play Baylor on Friday, Sept. 21, by being at the game all dressed in white-out for ESPN. Let's be the 12th man in the stands! LSU is ranked second in the nation and Neville first in 4A in our state.
Does life always turn out the way we want even for believers? We know it does not! The Holy Spirit directing our minds and our hearts gives us the power to keep on going when we do not have it.

Martha Jane Anderson retired from University of Louisiana-Monroe after 35 years of service as Assistant Dean of Students and SGA Advisor. She is married to Patrick H. Anderson Sr., has two children, and four grandchildren. |
