A West Monroe woman is behind bars after slamming into a man with her car.
Ouachita Parish Sheriff's deputies arrested Ronnie J. Osborne, 45, of West Monroe, and booked her into Ouachita Correctional Center on one count each of attempted murder, hit and run, criminal mischief and driving without a license.

The incident occurred at the intersection of West Olive and Washington streets in West Monroe.

According to witnesses, Osborne was driving down West Olive Street, where she encountered the victim in the road.
