LC Football receives votes in D3Football.com preseason poll
The Louisiana College football team did not crack the top 25 but got the fifth most votes of the unranked teams in the D3Football.com preseason poll released Tuesday.
The Wildcats, 7-3 in 2011, received 38 votes and were one of just two American Southwest Conference teams listed in the poll. Mary Hardin-Baylor, the many-years defending conference champs, checked in at No. 4.
LC will open their season on Saturday, September 1 at Webber International in Babson Park, FL at 11 AM (CST).
