Delta chancellor touts progress
Louisiana Delta Community College interim Chancellor Jerry Ryan says Delta will continue to prepare its students to enter the workforce.
Building a workforce is the primary mission of the community college, Ryan told the Northeast Monroe Rotary Club Monday afternoon.
"We believe giving people jobs build communities," Ryan said. "So that's what we're for, that's what we're there for."
Ryan said the desire for good jobs is a universal human pursuit.
