Annual water sweep planned
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Keep Louisiana Beautiful affiliates extend an invitation for individuals and organizations to participate in this parish-wide clean-up effort, set for 9 a.m.-1p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.
Your group can pre-register by calling: Diane Cook at 381-7517 or send an e-mail inquiry to Diane.Cook@usace.army.mil.
You can also sign-up the morning of the event at any of the three staging sites in Monroe, West Monroe, or Sterlington. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on the day of the event. Staging sites are Lazarre Park Beach in West Monroe; Forsythe Park Boat Launch in Monroe and Sterlington Recreation Area. |
