We are at the end of a long hot summer with touches of rain and fall air greeting us each day. It takes most of us a long time to realize the truth that God is our strength. Billy Graham reminds us that, "God is a very present help in times of trouble."

Psalm 46: 1. The Lord is able to deliver us from all kinds of problems if we ask believing and trusting in Him. He wants to give us the strength and courage to confront our challenges instead of us denying or avoiding them. Whatever each of us fear today, we must give it to the Lord...turn it over to him with much faith in the unseen. Remember from Psalm 27: 1

"The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?"

Spec Lewis rounded up the gang to eat at the new Mexican place, La Azteca  on 165 North. There are two big rooms with gracious Mexican waiters. We particularly liked the chips and salsa, quasi, lime heavy guacamole and Pat may have out-ordered the rest with the enchiladas verdes. Antonio was our waiter who made us feel so special!
