St. Frederick to host Junior High Jamboree Friday, August 24
St. Frederick will host several junior high football teams from throughout Northeast Louisiana in a junior high jamboree at Chip Luffey Field on Friday, August 24.
There will be two sessions with each team playing two games in each session. The first session is slated to start at 4:00 p.m. with St. Frederick Junior High's 7th and 8th grade teams, Cedar Creek's 7th and 8th grade teams and Delhi Charter's 7th and 8th grade teams all competing.
The second session which will begin at 6:00 p.m. will feature OCS's 7th and 8th grade teams, Richwood's 7th & 8th grade teams and West Ridge's 7th and 8th grade teams.

Games will be officiated and official rules will apply. The teams will play these games with all aspects including special teams (kickoff, kickoff return, punt, punt return, no extra points – teams will go for two).
There will be 2 three team round robins (where each team in the three team pool plays the other once – a total of 12 games). Each game will be a two quarter 8 minute running clock.
Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at the gate. |
