Residents petition Police Jury for road help

Kerry McCoy hopes that work will begin soon on Cheyenne Circle in Indian Lakes Subdivision.

McCoy is a resident of the street, which is home to a couple dozen homes and condominiums. Over the last 20 years, portions of Cheyenne Circle have fallen into disrepair.

McCoy says the road has become much more than an eyesore for the residents who live on the decaying street.

"Literally the other day, my tire fell off my truck," McCoy said. "I had to call a tow company to come get it."
