Several reasons properties don't sell Last week I addressed the issue of specialties in real estate with three major areas: residential, commercial and land. Every realtor will in time become a specialist in one of these areas with limited knowledge, skill and expertise in the areas outside of their specialty. Today I will address the question of "Why a property does not sell."
I begin with the conviction that there is a buyer for every property. Over the past 30 years I have observed the sale of all types of properties as well as some properties that stayed on the market for years and never sold. Discovering the difference between the 'sold' and the 'never sold' is not always price and often more complicated. Let's look at some of the reasons a property does not sell.
