River Oaks hosts Class 3A Washington Generals in Friday's regular season openner

The River Oaks Mustangs will open its regular season on Friday, August 17 by hosting the Washington Generals at 7:00 p.m. For the second straight week, the Mustangs will play a school that is larger than River Oaks.  Last week, the Mustangs played two Class AAA schools in Madison Ridgeland Academy and Copiah Educational Foundation.

River Oaks gains experience at Copiah Colonels Jamboree

The River Oaks Mustangs entered the Copiah Jamboree hoping to improve and gain valuable experience against tougher competition. Missionaccomplished!

Even though, the Mustangs were on the short end of the scoreboard to Madison Ridgeland Academy (14-6) and Copiah Educational Foundation (13-6), there were plenty of positives to take from the jamboree.
