Friends of the Fest seeking members With the eight annual Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival set for Oct. 6 in Kiroli Park, festival organizers are hopeful they can keep the festival going for many years to come.
To that end, festival founder Doyle Jeter established "Friends of the Fest," a group created in order to provide a support network for one of the region's premier music festivals.
"This year we wanted to do something to help perpetuate the Fest and get more people involved," said Jeter. "So we created the Friends of the Fest group."
