Parkinson's Disease group to meet at St. Alban's

The Northeast Louisiana Parkinson's Disease Support Group will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at St. Alban's Church in Monroe.

Guest speaker will be Paula Houston, Coordinator of the Parkinson's Disease Resource at LSU Heath Shreveport.

Mrs. Houston has been working closely with Dr. Richard Zweig for about 10 years. She brings her expertise gained from these years, as well as experience as caregiver for her father who had Parkinson's. Houston will provide with information, articles, and materials to help those with PD, as well as their caregivers.
The focus of this meeting will be "You and your loved ones — There is help and hope."

St. Alban's is located at 2816 Deborah Drive. The meeting is held the second Monday of each month, beginning Sept. 10.
