Hornsby settles in as president

Courtney Hornsby has been on the job less than a week, but she is already busy at work developing an aggressive program for the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce.

Hornsby took the reins as chamber president last week. She replaces Paul Hargrove, who resigned in May.

Hornsby said she immediately got to work rebuilding the chamber's slate of programs to serve members.

"These programs have not been consistent with the chamber," said Hornsby. "They've not existed for a while. We need to bring those back."
