Stop reveals open container, no child safety restraint

A routine check of a license plate by West Monroe police led to the arrest of a Texas man on several charges Thursday, July 26.

West Monroe Police officers spotted Timothy C. Randle, 32, of Arlington, driving a black 2012 Dodge Challenger.

When officers ran the plate number, they learned the vehicle had been reported as stolen in Ruston.

Officers stopped Randle, who was eastbound on Cypress Street. During the stop, officers learned Randle's driver's license had been suspended. He also was wanted by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office on forgery charges.
