I want to know what love is
When I take my morning walks around our circle, a thousand thoughts, sounds, sights and emotions travel through my mind. Many times thoughts for my column are the results of my walk around the circle. We don't have a block; we have a circle.
One morning while walking, my thoughts turned to the words to the song, "It Is Well With My Soul." The words were written by Horatio Stafford who had lost his four daughters only four days before he wrote the words to this song. The words were birthed from the pain from this awful tragedy of losing his four beautiful daughters. I once heard Lisa Marie Presley being interviewed and she was asked the question, "Where do the words to your songs come from?" She answered, "From the pain in my life."
One morning, shortly after one of my walks, I was watching a television program. Wynonna Judd was being interviewed. After she was interviewed, she sung the song, "I Want To Know What Love Is." .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition!
